Young Elephants pulled off a stunning comeback as they held Police to a 3-3 stalemate in the FUFA Big League at Anaka Primary School ground, Nwoya on Sunday. At one moment in the game, Police led 3-1 and it all looked like the Cops had sealed the game but the hosts had a different thought as they fought till the last minute.

Young Elephants took an early lead in the ninth minute before Steven Kabuye levelled matters in the 17th minute. Three minutes later, Raymond Onyai found the back of the net as he put the visitors ahead.

In the 23rd minute, the home crowd was unruly as they protested shortly after their equaliser was cancelled. Two minutes into the second half Brian Obedi extended Police’s lead adding salt in the host’s wounds.

In the 54th minute, the hosts scored the second goal on the day as the home crowd rallied behind their boys.

With five minutes to play, the host found the priceless equaliser as the two sides walked away with a point each.
